The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to the community.
SASSA are going to be rendering expert services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency said it is alarmed in regards to the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your large number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The services place created for intervention encounters a significant inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to status sassa attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more assets to empower the servicing of all prospects and raise use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
